Rosh HaShana Centerpieces: Toilet Paper Roll Apples

Rosh HaShana Centerpieces

Lately, apples seem to be quietly taking over our days — and I don’t mind one bit. This easy craft is another way to let them shine — perfect as a centerpiece for Rosh HaShanah or a bit of holiday décor that feels warm and familiar.

Ages: 4–10

Materials

  • Red construction paper

  • Green construction paper

  • Scissors

  • Tape

  • Empty toilet paper roll

Directions

  1. Cut red construction paper into strips, each slightly longer than the toilet paper roll.

  2. Tape the ends of the strips to the inside top and bottom of the toilet paper roll, creating a rounded “apple” shape.

  3. Cut a green leaf and stem from the green construction paper.

  4. Tape them inside the top of the toilet paper roll.

  5. Display your apple proudly as a holiday centerpiece or decoration!
